LA Summit 2020

2020 Summit Theme: From Insights to Action

CANCELLED: May 13-15, 2020 at Indiana University Bloomington

After thoughtful deliberations and based upon what the CDC is now suggesting, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the 3rd Annual Learning Analytics Summit that was scheduled for May 13–15, 2020 at Indiana University Bloomington.

We have been closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) and based on the latest guidance from public health officials, travel bans, and the state of emergency declared, it became clear to us that canceling was the right course of action. Please understand that we did not make this decision in haste. Our top priority is your health and safety.

We hope to see you at a future LA Summit!

The Learning Analytics Summit fosters a multi-institutional learning community that will advance the research and application of big data and learning analytics to further student success at the course, program, and institutional level.

This three-day summit will encourage faculty —and the administrators who support them—to engage with learning analytics in new and innovative ways. Faculty will be empowered to engage in research that increases student success through attending working groups, discussing the uses of big data, continuing discussions on the ethics of and advancing the future of learning analytics, with the opportunity to showcase their contributions to the field.
